Colin rejoined us after a lengthy break, since leaving BMC in 2009, to officiate at the baptism of his own grandson whose parents come to BMC.   It was lovely to see him again and to enjoy his relaxed style of preaching.   This was a rather shorter sermon than his usual to accomodate for his travelling and time with his family.

His sermon comes a couple of days after a major atrocity in Norway with the shooting of 70 odd people, mostly youth, on Utoya Island, Norway as well as a bomb set by an individual who the papers classed as a "Christian Fundamentalist" amongst other titles.  Colin spoke about how true Christianity would never condone such actions for any reason, & how the love of Christ is expansive towards all mankind.   A truly inspiring sermon.
