The Methodist Church in Ireland - main website for the church listing lots of information on where to find your local church, various other events within the MCI and other valuable resources. There are sections to enable you to find other Methodist churches in N. Ireland, and information on the various programmes they undertake etc.
No 9 Resource Centre - the Christian bookshop and information center primarily aimed at those in Edgehill College but also available for anyone interested to browse around and buy. Take their advice though and ask if you don't see something you're interested in as the site is relatively new and still expanding. Edgehill Theological College - welcomes people from every denomination and seeks to equip them for mission and ministry. It provides opportunities for theological education and research to a high level, for the initial preparation and ongoing development of ordained ministers and for reflection and spiritual growth among many other aspects of Christian growth and development to facilitate those desiring to go into the ministry. Girl's Brigade Northern Ireland - requires no introduction, but for those who are unfamiliar with the GB, it is one of the world's leading uniformed youth ministries to young women up to the age of 18 or so. They provide a program of activities designed to educate, challenge and inspire young people in an environment of Christian teaching. Youth with a Mission (YWAM) - well known for many years for providing youth outreach missionaries a focus for their work and interest. Every Student - for those who are young and still trying to find the meaning of life this site is superb in addressing many of the major questions everyone has - who am I, where do I fit in, what's the purpose of life, etc. Although aimed at under-25's the site's message is truly useful for all who find themselves in that position at any age in life. UK Christian Web - a great site listing tons of links to all sorts of resources from counselling to computers, prayer to personal pages and loads more. Well worth a visit. Bible Society (N.I) - superb organisation that works to get the scriptures out through the whole world in many languages and formats. Their most popular method of sponsorship is through the Bible-a-month club which allows people to pay towards the cost of producing bibles in many different countries, as well as obtaining information on how their donation is being used there. Open Doors - one of the most well known organisations around perhaps. Brother Andrew's work is legendary and OD continues to lead the world in recognition of the huge problem many believers face in other countries where Christian persecution is still the norm rather than the exception. Arab World Missionaries - A sensitive outreach organisation serving the difficult needs of the many Arabs who become Christians only to find themselves outcasts and on the wrong side of the law and their families for doing so. Persecution is rife in such situations, and AWM works tirelessly to provide financial, spiritual and practical help to those affected. If you would like to know more about Christianity, or to learn how to become a Christian - click here. ![]() Churches’ Community Work Alliance (Northern Ireland) Initiates and encourages community development work in the life of churches, helps churches to reflect theologically on their response to social and economic change and promotes good community development work practice, amongst other important church community projects.
