MWI enjoying a game night.

MWI

The Methodist Women in Ireland is open to all women in every Society of the Methodist Church in Ireland.  We share fellowship with each other through local branches, District gatherings and Connexional events. Following on from the wonderful work started by the Women’s Department and continued by the Methodist Women’s Association and the Young Women’s Association, the Methodist Women in Ireland was launched in 2003.  We are a full member of the World Federation of Methodist & Uniting Church Women (WFM & UCW).

Our yearly programme includes such things as:

• Talks by charities/organisations
• Craft demonstrations
• Fun nights & visits to other groups
• Outings to places of interest and theatre visits
• Raising Money for Missionary work
• Christmas Party
• Carol Service
• MWI Annual Service
• Summer Programme June & August includes bowling, swimming – walks and boat trips on the Lagan usually

followed by supper and chat.

We have a varied programme with something of interest for everyone. MWI is for all ages and we invite you to

come and join us.

We normally meet fortnightly on a Monday night - information will be on the Calendar for dates and speakers.
