Abseiling for Little Heroes

On Saturday 20th June 2026, I will be taking on a challenge that is well outside my comfort zone - abseiling down Fairhead Cliff, one of Northern Ireland's highest cliffs, to raise funds for Little Heroes.

As someone with a fear of heights, this is not something I am looking forward to, but it is a small challenge compared to what many children and their families face every day at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

Little Heroes supports children and families during some of the most difficult times of their lives by providing practical assistance, comfort items, specialist equipment and funding projects that enhance patient care and family wellbeing.

Each year, around 10% of all children in Northern Ireland receive care at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, while approximately 150 children attend the Emergency Department every day. The work of Little Heroes helps make a real difference to many of these children and their families.

I would be very grateful for your prayers, encouragement and support. If you would like to make a donation, please visit my fundraising page using the link below.

Thank you for helping me support this wonderful charity.
