We're reaching out with an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in our community. Home is our Wednesday morning breakfast where we serve the most vulnerable in our city. However, the summer months bring challenges in having enough volunteers to run it as effectively as we would like.
We'd love your help for Home to continue to be the welcoming and warm environment that it's known for. Whether you currently volunteer with us or are just looking for a way to give back, we'd be so grateful for your support. We're looking for volunteers to help with:
Preparing breakfast - cooking sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, and potato bread (this is our primary need)
Serving breakfast along with tea and coffee
Engaging with some of the most vulnerable in our city - developing conversations and relationships
